🇹🇼TAIPEI, TAIWAN PRINTS 🇹🇼 $25 + shipping, DM to purchase! Or on my Etsy at Cori Lin Art. . This was **all** the food my family ate on our trip last summer to spend time in the city my dad grew up in and that my ama called home. It had changed so drastically from when he lived there, but the fresh 6am breakfast of doujian and youtiao was the same as he remembered it! . This print features street food from night markets (pigs blood cake!), very special delicacies (Buddha jumps over the wall soup!), Convenience store finds (onigiri with rou song inside!), And a million desserts (dou hua! Fresh snow!).
BOBA+ PRINTS ✨ 9x12 $20 plus shipping. In my Etsy (Cori Lin Art) or DM to purchase! . I have strong opinions (loosely held) about bubble tea. 🍧 everyone should know that bubble tea is Taiwanese. 🍧 If you order boba without the boba then it's just tea? Or a smoothie? 🍧 Best place in Twin Cities for Boba is Dinkytown cause that's where the international Asians live. 🍧 Best place for Boba in Chicago is the Elitea in the Chinatown mall basement. 🍧 I haven't even **been there** but the best place for boba in the nation rn is prob @bopomofocafe in LA. No powders, Taiwanese-american roots/aesthetic, and rotating seasonal drinks made fresh to order. Kabocha spice Latte???? Pls come to the Midwest. . Print feat iced drinks from Taipei: 🍋mango slush & coconut cream 🍍🍊mixed whole fruit tea 💡milk tea with boba 🥃amber tea with amber bubbles 🍡layered mango, guava, passionfruit juice 🍓 strawberry milk with strawberry boba 🍇butterfly pea flower tea 🍵matcha creme float
✨@walkerartcenter family activity books✨ I'm so proud of my cut/paper/doodle creation that is now a part of the Walker's Five Ways In exhibit. Swipe to see the painted scraps I used to build the images ✂️✂️✂️ . Best part of this project by far was the opportunity to be in conversation with so many artists. The 5 pieces i picked from the exhibit to be in my activity book were made by; Kerry James Marshall, Olafur Elliasson, Lorna Simpson, Yayoi Kusama, and @tacoumba Aiken. Also the four other Twin Cities artists who visioned the other language versions: @luisfitch, @tyxdraws, @ifrahmansour, and Aziz Osman. We met early in 2019 and it's so cool to see the our different products all together a year later! . If you ever go to the Walker, pls take a picture and share it with me!!
